Well, it feels that way. I have been through a few of these things in my time, the smoothest whilst at KPMG consulting ( prior to being trashed by Atos Origin ) one at EDS and the latest here at company X ( I am still working with them, and am not allowed to disclose them ).
Whatever the reason, it seems when a new senior manager steps into the role, they feel the need to change somthing, and make it quite big. I'd guess putting their stamp on the new organisation.

Spam originates from you. Not an angle the industry pushes down your throat.. Lets face it, their current message isn't getting through either. This is not me "having a go" as I screwed up at somepoint last month, with the email I use with my current client, and now I am reling on their unsutably expensive filter.
So, can I pull this off in one sentance!
You tell someone your email address, one of them sells it to a spammer, you get 100's of spam messages!
